This symposium will present a balanced discussion regarding the proposed referendum to amend the Commonwealth Constitution regarding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The purpose of the symposium is to raise awareness for the referendum and to be a springboard for further discussion of related issues as the event will focus primarily on the impact on the constitution. This event is open to members of the QUT and wider community who are interested in the issue.
